Macrobac (500mg) 6 Tablets contains azithromycin, a macrolide antibiotic for bacterial infections (e.g. respiratory, skin, STIs). The 500mg strength may be for 3-day or 5-day course. Take as directed; complete the full course.
Purpose
Treatment of susceptible bacterial infections (respiratory, skin, STIs, etc.) when prescribed.
Ingredients
Azithromycin 500mg per tablet.
Warnings
Complete the full course. Report allergic reaction or severe diarrhoea. Not for viral infections. Caution in cardiac disease.
Side Effects
Nausea, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, headache. Rare: allergic reactions, QT prolongation. Report severe diarrhoea, rash, or irregular heartbeat.
