Metformina contains Metformin 1g (1000mg) for type 2 diabetes. It reduces hepatic glucose output and improves insulin sensitivity.

Metformin Hydrochloride 1000mg

Contraindicated in severe renal impairment. Avoid if eGFR below 30. Lactic acidosis risk. Prescription only.

Nausea, diarrhoea, abdominal pain. Rare: lactic acidosis.
