Methylphenidate XR 25mg tablets for ADHD.
Mirexia Xr 25mg contains methylphenidate in extended-release formulation for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). The 25mg strength is for once-daily dosing in the morning. Take as directed; do not crush or chew.
Purpose
Treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in children and adults when prescribed.
Ingredients
Methylphenidate hydrochloride 25mg (extended-release) per tablet.
Warnings
Controlled substance; risk of abuse and dependence. Contraindicated in glaucoma and with MAO inhibitors. Caution in cardiovascular disease. Monitor growth in children.
Side Effects
Decreased appetite, insomnia, headache, abdominal pain, tachycardia. Rare: psychosis, growth suppression. Report mood changes or chest pain.
