Motilium Syp
Domperidone syrup for nausea and gastric motility.
Motilium Syp is domperidone syrup, a dopamine antagonist used for nausea, vomiting, and upper gastrointestinal motility disorders. Used in children and adults when oral tablets are not suitable. Take before meals as directed.
Purpose
Symptomatic treatment of nausea and vomiting; treatment of upper GI motility disorders when prescribed.
Ingredients
Domperidone; strength per 5ml or 10ml as per pack.
Warnings
Contraindicated in prolonged QT interval and with certain CYP3A4 inhibitors. Caution in cardiac disease. Use lowest effective dose for shortest duration.
Side Effects
Dry mouth, headache, abdominal cramps. Rare: QT prolongation, hyperprolactinaemia. Report palpitations or breast changes.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C. Keep bottle tightly closed. Protect from light. Use within timeframe after opening if stated.
