Moveryl 200mg Cap
Itraconazole 200mg capsules for systemic and superficial fungal infections.
Moveryl 200mg contains itraconazole, a triazole antifungal that inhibits fungal ergosterol synthesis. It is used for systemic and superficial fungal infections including aspergillosis, candidiasis, dermatophyte infections, and histoplasmosis. The capsule formulation requires gastric acid for absorption; take with a full meal.
Purpose
Treatment of systemic and superficial fungal infections as per approved indications (e.g. aspergillosis, candidiasis, dermatophytosis).
Ingredients
Itraconazole 200mg per capsule.
Warnings
Contraindicated in heart failure and with certain CYP3A4 substrates (e.g. quinidine, dofetilide). Caution in hepatic or renal impairment. Take with food for absorption. Not for use in pregnancy except severe systemic fungal infection.
Side Effects
Nausea, abdominal pain, diarrhoea, headache, oedema, hypokalaemia. Rare: congestive heart failure, hepatotoxicity. Report shortness of breath, swelling, or jaundice.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep in original container; protect from light and moisture.
