Mucogin 4mg Cap 30s
Montelukast 4mg capsules for asthma and allergies.
Mucogin 4mg Cap 30s contains montelukast, a leukotriene receptor antagonist for asthma and allergic rhinitis. The 4mg strength may be for paediatric use; adult dose is usually 10mg once daily. Take once daily in the evening as directed.
Purpose
Prophylaxis and chronic treatment of asthma; relief of symptoms of allergic rhinitis when prescribed.
Ingredients
Montelukast 4mg (as sodium) per capsule.
Warnings
Not for acute asthma attacks. Report mood or behaviour changes. Caution in aspirin-sensitive asthma. Not a substitute for inhaled corticosteroids when prescribed.
Side Effects
Headache, abdominal pain, upper respiratory infection. Rare: behavioural changes, eosinophilic conditions. Report mood or behaviour changes.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep in original pack; protect from moisture and light.
