Tizanidine 4mg tablets for muscle spasticity in MS and spinal cord injury.
Musidin 4mg contains tizanidine hydrochloride, a central alpha-2 adrenergic agonist that reduces muscle tone and spasm. It is used for the management of spasticity associated with multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injury, or other neurological conditions. It is short-acting; dosing is typically two to four times daily as prescribed.
Purpose
Symptomatic treatment of spasticity associated with multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injury, or other neurological causes.
Ingredients
Tizanidine hydrochloride 4mg per tablet.
Warnings
May cause sedation and hypotension; avoid driving or operating machinery until effect is known. Do not stop abruptly; taper under medical supervision. Caution with other CNS depressants and in hepatic impairment. Contraindicated with strong CYP1A2 inhibitors (e.g. fluvoxamine).
Side Effects
Drowsiness, dry mouth, dizziness, fatigue, hypotension, bradycardia. Abrupt withdrawal may cause rebound hypertension and tachycardia. Report fainting or very slow pulse.

Store below 30°C in a dry place. Keep in original pack; protect from light and moisture.
