Nebinorm 5mg Tab 14s
Repaglinide 5mg tablets for type 2 diabetes.
Nebinorm 5mg Tab 14s contains repaglinide, a meglitinide for type 2 diabetes. The 5mg strength is for use with main meals (usually 2–4 times daily). Take shortly before meals; do not skip meals. Risk of hypoglycaemia.
Purpose
Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus as adjunct to diet and exercise when prescribed.
Ingredients
Repaglinide 5mg per tablet.
Warnings
Risk of hypoglycaemia; carry fast-acting sugar. Take shortly before meals. Contraindicated in severe renal/hepatic impairment and diabetic ketoacidosis. Not for type 1 diabetes.
Side Effects
Hypoglycaemia, weight gain, headache. Rare: hypersensitivity. Report symptoms of low blood sugar or rash.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep in original pack; protect from moisture.
