Nebivolol and hydrochlorothiazide 5/12.5mg for hypertension.
Nebivol H 5/12.5mg combines nebivolol (beta-blocker) and hydrochlorothiazide (diuretic) for hypertension. Used when combination therapy is needed for blood pressure control. Nebivolol reduces heart rate and cardiac output; HCTZ reduces fluid volume.
Purpose
Treatment of essential hypertension when combination therapy is appropriate.
Ingredients
Nebivolol 5mg and hydrochlorothiazide 12.5mg per tablet.
Warnings
Contraindicated in severe bradycardia, heart block, and uncontrolled heart failure. Do not stop abruptly. Caution in diabetes and gout. Monitor potassium.
Side Effects
Dizziness, fatigue, bradycardia, headache, hypokalaemia, hyperuricaemia. Report fainting, very slow pulse, or muscle weakness.
