Neoglip Xr (50/500mg) 14 Tablets
Sitagliptin 50mg and metformin 500mg XR for type 2 diabetes.
Neoglip Xr (50/500mg) 14 Tablets combines sitagliptin (DPP-4) 50mg and metformin 500mg in extended-release formulation for type 2 diabetes. Take once daily with a meal as directed; swallow whole.
Purpose
Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus as adjunct to diet and exercise when combination therapy is appropriate.
Ingredients
Sitagliptin 50mg and metformin hydrochloride 500mg (extended-release) per tablet.
Warnings
Contraindicated in severe renal impairment and diabetic ketoacidosis. Not for type 1 diabetes. Avoid excessive alcohol. Report severe abdominal pain.
Side Effects
Nausea, diarrhoea, abdominal discomfort, headache. Rare: lactic acidosis, pancreatitis. Report severe abdominal pain or unusual muscle pain.
Storage Instructions
Store below 30°C in a dry place. Keep in original pack; protect from moisture.
