Isotretinoin 25mg capsules for severe acne.
Neotret 25mg contains isotretinoin, a retinoid used for severe nodular acne that has not responded to other treatments. It reduces sebum production and normalises follicular keratinisation. Take with food; use only under specialist supervision. Teratogenic.
Purpose
Treatment of severe nodular acne that has not responded to adequate courses of standard therapy.
Ingredients
Isotretinoin 25mg per capsule.
Warnings
Highly teratogenic; strict contraception required in women of childbearing potential. Contraindicated in pregnancy and breastfeeding. Monitor lipids and liver function. Do not donate blood during treatment.
Side Effects
Dry skin, lips, and eyes; cheilitis; photosensitivity; raised triglycerides; mood changes. Rare: hepatotoxicity, pseudotumour cerebri. Report depression, headache, or visual disturbance.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep in original pack; protect from light and moisture.
