Norplat (75mg) 28 Tablets
Clopidogrel 75mg tablets for cardiovascular prevention.
Norplat (75mg) contains clopidogrel, an antiplatelet agent that inhibits ADP-induced platelet aggregation. It is used for secondary prevention of cardiovascular events (e.g. after MI, stroke, or PCI) and in acute coronary syndrome. Take once daily as directed.
Purpose
Secondary prevention of atherothrombotic events in patients with MI, stroke, or peripheral arterial disease; acute coronary syndrome when prescribed.
Ingredients
Clopidogrel 75mg (as bisulphate) per tablet.
Warnings
Increased bleeding risk. Contraindicated in active bleeding and severe hepatic impairment. Do not stop suddenly before surgery without medical advice. Caution with other anticoagulants.
Side Effects
Bleeding, bruising, diarrhoea, rash, headache. Report unusual bleeding, black stools, or blood in urine.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep in original pack; protect from moisture.
