Dexamethasone + antibiotic eye ointment 3.5g.
Obradex (3/1mg) 3.5g Eye Ointment contains dexamethasone and an antibiotic (e.g. neomycin, polymyxin) for bacterial eye infections with inflammation. Apply as directed; for ophthalmic use only. Use at bedtime or as prescribed.
Purpose
Treatment of bacterial eye infections with inflammatory component when prescribed.
Ingredients
Dexamethasone and antibiotic (e.g. neomycin, polymyxin B); strengths as per pack; 3.5g.
Warnings
For ophthalmic use only. Do not touch tip to eye or surface. Prolonged use may increase intraocular pressure. Not for use in viral or fungal eye infection without medical advice. Report vision changes.
Side Effects
Temporary blurred vision, stinging. Rare: increased intraocular pressure, cataract with prolonged use. Report severe pain, vision changes, or worsening.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C. Keep tube tightly closed. Do not use after expiry or period stated after opening.
