Ofloxacin 400mg tablets for bacterial infections.
Oflobid (400mg) 10 Tablets contains ofloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic for bacterial infections (e.g. urinary, respiratory, skin). The 400mg strength may be for once or twice daily. Take as directed; complete the full course. Avoid prolonged sun exposure.
Purpose
Treatment of susceptible bacterial infections (urinary, respiratory, skin, etc.) when prescribed.
Ingredients
Ofloxacin 400mg per tablet.
Warnings
Risk of tendonitis and tendon rupture; report tendon pain. Avoid prolonged sun exposure. Caution in QT prolongation and myasthenia gravis. Not for viral infections.
Side Effects
Nausea, diarrhoea, headache, photosensitivity. Rare: tendon damage, CNS effects, QT prolongation. Report tendon pain, confusion, or irregular heartbeat.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep in original pack; protect from moisture and light.
