Olmesartan and amlodipine combination for hypertension.
Olabex 3/25 is a fixed-dose combination of olmesartan (angiotensin II receptor blocker) and amlodipine (calcium channel blocker) for hypertension. Olmesartan blocks angiotensin II; amlodipine relaxes blood vessels. Used when single-agent therapy is insufficient. Supplied as capsules; take once daily.
Purpose
Treatment of hypertension in adults.
Ingredients
Olmesartan medoxomil and Amlodipine (as besylate); strengths as per pack (e.g. 3/25mg).
Warnings
Not recommended during pregnancy. Avoid with aliskiren in diabetes or renal impairment. Do not stop abruptly.
Side Effects
Dizziness, edema (swelling), headache, flushing. May cause hypotension or hyperkalemia.

Store below 25°C in a dry place. Protect from moisture.
