Omsana Am 10/40mg is a fixed-dose combination of amlodipine 10mg (calcium channel blocker) and olmesartan 40mg (angiotensin II receptor blocker). Both relax blood vessels to lower blood pressure. Used for hypertension when single-agent therapy is insufficient. Take once daily.

Purpose

Treatment of hypertension in adults.

Ingredients

Amlodipine (as besylate) 10mg and Olmesartan medoxomil 40mg per tablet.

Warnings

Not for use in pregnancy. Avoid with aliskiren in diabetes or renal impairment. Do not stop abruptly.

Side Effects

Edema, headache, dizziness, flushing. May cause hypotension or hyperkalemia.
