Ostegem Od 30 Tablets contains alendronate 70mg (or similar bisphosphonate) once weekly for osteoporosis. Take on an empty stomach with plain water; remain upright for 30 minutes.
Purpose
Treatment of osteoporosis when prescribed.
Ingredients
Alendronate sodium 70mg per tablet (or equivalent); 30 tablets.
Warnings
Take on empty stomach with plain water only. Remain upright 30 minutes. Do not lie down. Report oesophageal pain or jaw symptoms.
Side Effects
Oesophageal irritation, abdominal pain, musculoskeletal pain. Rare: osteonecrosis of jaw. Report difficulty swallowing or jaw pain.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep in original pack; protect from moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
