Oral rehydration solution 500ml for children with diarrhoea.
Paedi Care 500Ml (Regular) is an oral rehydration solution (ORS) for children. It contains glucose and electrolytes (sodium, potassium, chloride) in proportions recommended by WHO for the treatment and prevention of dehydration due to acute diarrhoea. Not a substitute for medical care in severe dehydration.
Purpose
Treatment and prevention of dehydration due to acute diarrhoea in children.
Ingredients
Glucose, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, sodium citrate; composition as per WHO ORS or pack.
Warnings
Seek medical help for severe dehydration, persistent vomiting, or if child is very drowsy. Not a substitute for medical care in severe cases.
Side Effects
Generally well-tolerated when used as directed. Excessive intake may cause electrolyte imbalance.
Storage Instructions
Store in a cool, dry place. Once reconstituted, use within 24 hours and refrigerate. Do not freeze.
