Pedipro ORS is an oral rehydration salts (ORS) formulation in sachets for children, used to replace fluids and electrolytes lost through diarrhoea and vomiting.

Purpose

Oral rehydration in diarrhoea and vomiting in children.

Ingredients

Glucose, sodium, potassium, chloride, citrate (WHO-compatible ORS)

Warnings

Seek medical advice if child is severely dehydrated, vomits persistently, or has bloody diarrhoea.

Side Effects

Generally well tolerated. Hypernatraemia if incorrectly reconstituted.
