Oral rehydration solution 500ml for dehydration.
Peditral Liq Regular 500Ml is an oral rehydration solution (ORS) for dehydration due to diarrhoea or vomiting. Use as directed; replace fluids in small frequent amounts. Not a substitute for medical care in severe dehydration.
Purpose
Prevention and treatment of dehydration due to acute diarrhoea when appropriate.
Ingredients
Glucose, sodium, potassium, bicarbonate or citrate; composition as per WHO ORS or pack.
Warnings
Seek medical help for severe dehydration, blood in stool, or if child cannot drink. Not a substitute for medical treatment. Do not use for prolonged period without medical advice.
Side Effects
Generally well-tolerated. Report vomiting that prevents drinking or signs of severe dehydration (e.g. no urine, sunken eyes).
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C. Once opened, use within 24 hours if refrigerated or as per pack. Keep out of reach of children.
