Pexnew 5mg contains perindopril, an ACE inhibitor for hypertension and heart failure. The 5mg strength is for once-daily dosing. Take in the morning; may be taken with or without food.

Purpose

Treatment of essential hypertension; treatment of heart failure when prescribed.

Ingredients

Perindopril 5mg (as erbumine or arginine) per tablet.

Warnings

Contraindicated in pregnancy; can cause fetal injury. Caution in renal impairment and with potassium-sparing diuretics. Report angioedema.

Side Effects

Cough, dizziness, fatigue, hyperkalaemia. Rare: angioedema. Report swelling of face or throat or fainting.

Storage Instructions

Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep in original pack; protect from moisture.
