Prestor 5/80 mg combines perindopril (ACE inhibitor) and amlodipine (calcium channel blocker) for hypertension. Used when combination therapy is needed. Take once daily in the morning as directed.

Purpose

Treatment of essential hypertension when combination therapy is appropriate.

Ingredients

Perindopril 5mg and amlodipine 80mg per tablet (or equivalent as per pack).

Warnings

Contraindicated in pregnancy; can cause fetal injury. Caution in renal impairment. Report angioedema.

Side Effects

Cough, dizziness, oedema, flushing, headache. Rare: angioedema. Report swelling of face or throat or fainting.

Storage Instructions

Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep in original pack; protect from moisture.
