Pantoprazole 20mg tablets for acid reflux and peptic ulcer.
Protohib (20mg) 14 Tablets contain pantoprazole 20mg, a proton pump inhibitor for acid-related conditions (GERD, heartburn, peptic ulcers). Take before a meal; swallow tablet whole.
Purpose
Treatment of gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD), erosive esophagitis, peptic ulcer disease, and H. pylori eradication when prescribed.
Ingredients
Pantoprazole (as sodium sesquihydrate) 20mg per tablet.
Warnings
Not for immediate relief of heartburn. Report persistent diarrhoea. Hypomagnesaemia reported with prolonged use.
Side Effects
Headache, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, nausea. Long-term use may be associated with hypomagnesaemia. Report muscle cramps or irregular heartbeat.
