Betamethasone ointment 15g for skin inflammation.
Provate Ointment 15g contains betamethasone or similar potent corticosteroid for short-term treatment of inflammatory skin conditions (e.g. eczema, psoriasis). Apply sparingly to affected area; for external use only. Do not use on face or long-term without medical advice.
Purpose
Short-term treatment of inflammatory skin conditions (e.g. eczema, psoriasis) when prescribed.
Ingredients
Betamethasone valerate or equivalent; strength as per pack; 15g ointment.
Warnings
Potent steroid; use sparingly and for shortest duration. Do not use on face, groin, or under occlusion without medical advice. Not for children under 12 unless prescribed. Discontinue if irritation or infection occurs.
Side Effects
Local thinning of skin, striae, folliculitis with prolonged use. Systemic absorption possible with large areas. Report skin thinning or worsening.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C. Keep tube tightly closed. Do not freeze. Use within period stated after opening.
