Quto Xr 50mg Tab
Quetiapine XR 50mg tablets for schizophrenia and mood disorders.
Quto Xr 50mg Tab contains quetiapine in extended-release formulation, an atypical antipsychotic for schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and major depression. The 50mg strength is for once-daily dosing. Take as directed; do not crush or chew.
Purpose
Treatment of schizophrenia; bipolar depression and mania; adjunct in major depressive disorder when prescribed.
Ingredients
Quetiapine fumarate 50mg (extended-release) per tablet.
Warnings
May cause drowsiness; avoid driving until effect is known. Increased mortality in elderly with dementia-related psychosis. Caution in cardiovascular disease. Avoid abrupt withdrawal.
Side Effects
Drowsiness, dry mouth, dizziness, weight gain, constipation. May cause metabolic changes and orthostatic hypotension. Report unexplained fever or muscle rigidity.
