Nimesulide 100mg tablets for short-term pain and inflammation.
Rimsid 100mg contains nimesulide, an NSAID with analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. It is used for short-term treatment of acute pain and primary dysmenorrhoea in some markets. Use is restricted in some countries due to hepatic risk; use only when prescribed and for the shortest duration necessary.
Purpose
Short-term treatment of acute pain and primary dysmenorrhoea when prescribed.
Ingredients
Nimesulide 100mg per tablet.
Warnings
Contraindicated in hepatic impairment and in patients with history of NSAID-induced asthma or GI bleeding. Use only for short term as directed. Report any liver symptoms.
Side Effects
Nausea, diarrhoea, rash, dizziness. Rare: hepatotoxicity. Discontinue and seek medical help if signs of liver dysfunction (fatigue, dark urine, jaundice).
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep in original pack; protect from moisture.
