Romiplostim 1mg injection for immune thrombocytopenia.
Romero 1mg Inj contains romiplostim, a thrombopoietin receptor agonist for chronic immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) when other treatments are insufficient. The 1mg strength is for subcutaneous injection. Use only as directed by a specialist.
Purpose
Treatment of chronic immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) in patients who are refractory to other treatments.
Ingredients
Romiplostim 1mg per vial or prefilled syringe; formulation as per pack.
Warnings
Risk of bone marrow reticulin formation. May increase risk of thrombosis. Use only under specialist supervision. Report signs of thrombosis or bleeding.
Side Effects
Headache, fatigue, dizziness, myalgia, insomnia. Risk of bone marrow fibrosis and thrombosis. Report unusual bruising, bleeding, or blood clots.
Storage Instructions
Store in refrigerator; protect from light. Use within period stated after reconstitution or opening. Do not freeze.
