Safgo (1mg) 20 Tablets
Safinamide 1mg tablets for Parkinson's disease (add-on).
Safgo (1mg) contains safinamide, a MAO-B inhibitor used as add-on therapy in Parkinson's disease for patients experiencing motor fluctuations on levodopa. It may improve on-time and reduce off-periods. Take once daily as directed.
Purpose
Add-on treatment of mid-to-late stage idiopathic Parkinson's disease with motor fluctuations when prescribed.
Ingredients
Safinamide 1mg per tablet (or strength as per pack).
Warnings
Contraindicated with MAO inhibitors and certain opioids. Caution with SSRIs/SNRIs (serotonin syndrome risk). Do not stop abruptly.
Side Effects
Dyskinesia, nausea, insomnia, dizziness. Rare: serotonin syndrome if combined with serotonergic drugs. Report fever, agitation, or muscle rigidity.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep in original pack; protect from moisture.
