Seizunil (100mg/5Ml) 120Ml Syrup contains sodium valproate or valproic acid 100mg/5ml for epilepsy and bipolar disorder. Use as directed; do not stop suddenly. Shake well before use.
Purpose
Treatment of epilepsy (generalised and partial seizures) and bipolar disorder when prescribed.
Ingredients
Sodium valproate 100mg/5ml (or valproic acid equivalent).
Warnings
Prescription only. Contraindicated in pregnancy (teratogenic). Do not stop suddenly. Monitor liver function. Report jaundice, abdominal pain, or unusual bruising.
Side Effects
Nausea, weight gain, tremor, hair loss, thrombocytopenia. Hepatotoxicity and pancreatitis (rare). Report jaundice, abdominal pain, or bruising.
