Sematide 0.25mg Pfs Prefilled Syringe contains semaglutide, a GLP-1 receptor agonist for type 2 diabetes and/or weight management. The 0.25mg dose is for weekly subcutaneous injection during initiation. Use only as directed by your doctor.

Purpose

Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus as adjunct to diet and exercise; may be used for weight management when prescribed.

Ingredients

Semaglutide 0.25mg per prefilled syringe; formulation as per pack.

Warnings

Contraindicated in personal or family history of medullary thyroid cancer and in pregnancy. Risk of pancreatitis. Report severe abdominal pain. Not for type 1 diabetes.

Side Effects

Nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, constipation. Rare: pancreatitis, gallbladder disease. Report severe abdominal pain or persistent vomiting.

Storage Instructions

Store in refrigerator before first use; may be kept at room temperature for period stated. Protect from light. Do not freeze. Use within period after first use.
