Amlodipine, Valsartan, and Hydrochlorothiazide for hypertension.
Sofvasc Hct 10/160/25mg is a triple combination of amlodipine 10mg (calcium channel blocker), valsartan 160mg (ARB), and hydrochlorothiazide 25mg (diuretic) for hypertension. Used when blood pressure is not controlled on dual therapy. Take once daily. Pack of 28 tablets.
Purpose
Treatment of hypertension in adults when dual therapy is insufficient.
Ingredients
Amlodipine (as besylate) 10mg, Valsartan 160mg, and Hydrochlorothiazide 25mg per tablet.
Warnings
Contraindicated in pregnancy. Monitor potassium. Avoid in severe hepatic impairment. Do not stop abruptly.
Side Effects
Dizziness, edema, headache, fatigue, hypokalemia. Risk of hypotension.
