Stomdex (30mg) 30 Capsules
Domperidone 30mg for nausea and gastric motility.
Stomdex (30mg) contains domperidone, a dopamine antagonist that promotes gastric motility and acts as an antiemetic. Used for nausea and vomiting, and for upper gastrointestinal motility disorders. The 30mg strength may be modified-release. Take before meals as directed.
Purpose
Symptomatic treatment of nausea and vomiting; treatment of upper GI motility disorders when prescribed.
Ingredients
Domperidone 30mg per capsule (or tablet as per pack).
Warnings
Contraindicated in prolonged QT interval and with certain CYP3A4 inhibitors. Caution in cardiac disease. Use lowest effective dose for shortest duration.
Side Effects
Dry mouth, headache, abdominal cramps. Rare: QT prolongation, hyperprolactinaemia. Report palpitations or breast changes.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep in original pack; protect from moisture.
