It is a combination of two lubricants : Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose and Dextran 70. They work similar to natural tears and provide temporary relief from burning and discomfort in the eyes. Together, they keep the eyes moist and help to protect the eyes from injury or infection.

Warnings
If you experience eye pain, headaches, changes in vision, persistent redness or irritation of your eyes, or if your condition worsens or does not improve within 3 days, stop using this medication and seek advice from a doctor.
You may experience blurred vision after using this medication. Do not drive or use any machines unless your vision is clear.
Do not use the drops while wearing contact lenses. Wait at least 15 minutes after use before putting your lenses back in. There is a preservative in this drops (benzalkonium chloride) that can cause eye irritation and is also know to discolour soft contact lenses.
