Telarb H 40/12.5mg Tab 14s
Telmisartan and hydrochlorothiazide 40/12.5mg for hypertension.
Telarb H 40/12.5mg combines telmisartan (ARB) and hydrochlorothiazide (diuretic) for hypertension. Used when monotherapy is insufficient. Telmisartan blocks angiotensin II; HCTZ reduces fluid volume. Take once daily as directed.
Purpose
Treatment of essential hypertension when combination therapy is appropriate.
Ingredients
Telmisartan 40mg and hydrochlorothiazide 12.5mg per tablet.
Warnings
Contraindicated in pregnancy; can cause fetal injury. Caution in renal impairment and with potassium-sparing diuretics. Monitor potassium.
Side Effects
Dizziness, hypotension, hyperkalaemia, hypokalaemia, fatigue. Report fainting, muscle weakness, or very slow or fast heartbeat.
Storage Instructions
Store below 30°C in a dry place. Keep in original pack; protect from moisture.
