Telmisartan 40mg and Amlodipine 5mg for hypertension.
Telarb Plus 40/5mg is a fixed-dose combination of telmisartan 40mg (angiotensin II receptor blocker) and amlodipine 5mg (calcium channel blocker). Both lower blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels. Used for hypertension when single-agent therapy is insufficient. Take once daily. Pack of 14 tablets.
Purpose
Treatment of hypertension in adults.
Ingredients
Telmisartan 40mg and Amlodipine (as besylate) 5mg per tablet.
Warnings
Contraindicated in pregnancy. Caution in renal impairment, hyperkalemia, aortic stenosis. Do not stop abruptly.
Side Effects
Dizziness, edema, headache, flushing, fatigue. May cause hypotension or hyperkalemia.
