Tenofovir 25mg tablets for HIV/hepatitis B. Prescription only.
Tenofomide (25mg) 30 Tab contains tenofovir disoproxil (or similar) 25mg, an antiviral used in HIV and hepatitis B treatment. Dose and regimen are individualised. Take as directed; do not stop without medical advice.
Purpose
Treatment of HIV-1 infection in combination with other antiretrovirals; or treatment of chronic hepatitis B when prescribed.
Ingredients
Tenofovir disoproxil (as fumarate) 25mg per tablet (or equivalent; refer to pack).
Warnings
Prescription only. Do not stop without medical advice. Regular monitoring required. Not a cure for HIV. Report signs of lactic acidosis or kidney problems.
Side Effects
Nausea, diarrhoea, headache. Lactic acidosis, renal impairment, bone mineral loss possible. Report unexplained muscle pain, breathlessness, or urinary changes.

Store below 30°C in a dry place. Keep in original pack; protect from moisture.
