Texcol Tab 10s
Atorvastatin tablets for high cholesterol and cardiovascular risk reduction.
Texcol contains atorvastatin, an HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor (statin) that lowers LDL cholesterol and triglycerides. Used for primary hypercholesterolemia and to reduce cardiovascular risk in adults. Take once daily with or without food. Pack of 10 tablets.
Purpose
Treatment of hypercholesterolemia; reduction of cardiovascular risk.
Ingredients
Atorvastatin (as calcium) per tablet; strength as per pack.
Warnings
Report unexplained muscle pain or weakness. Not for use during pregnancy. Contraindicated in active liver disease. Avoid excessive alcohol.
Side Effects
Headache, muscle pain, nausea, liver enzyme elevation. Report unexplained muscle pain.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C in a dry place. Protect from light and moisture.
