Thiolax 2Ml Inj is alpha-lipoic acid (thioctic acid) injection, an antioxidant used for diabetic peripheral neuropathy in some regions. Administered by slow intravenous infusion by a healthcare professional. Take only as prescribed.
Purpose
Symptomatic treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy when prescribed.
Ingredients
Alpha-lipoic acid (thioctic acid); strength per 2ml as per pack.
Warnings
Administer only by trained personnel. Caution in diabetes (may enhance hypoglycaemia). Not for use in pregnancy without medical advice.
Side Effects
Nausea, dizziness, injection-site reactions. Rare: hypoglycaemia, allergic reactions. Report rash or breathing difficulty.
