Formoterol is a long-acting bronchodilator used as a long-term (maintenance) treatment to prevent or decrease wheezing and trouble breathing caused by asthma or ongoing lung disease (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease-COPD. Tiotropium is in a class of medications called bronchodilators. It works by relaxing and opening the air passages to the lungs to make breathing easier.

Warnings
It is advised to not be used in prostatic hyperplasia.
It is advised to not be used in acute severe asthma.
If you are using this medication to prevent exercise-induced breathing problems (EIB), it is advised to be used at least 15 minutes before exercising.
Side Effects
Dry mouth, urinary retention, supraventricular tachycardia, atrial fibrillation, headache, palpitation & tremor.
