Purpose

Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Ingredients

Sitagliptin (as phosphate) 100mg and Metformin hydrochloride 1000mg (extended-release) per tablet.

Warnings

Contraindicated in severe renal impairment. Risk of lactic acidosis. Not for type 1 diabetes.

Side Effects

Nausea, diarrhea, headache. Rare: lactic acidosis, pancreatitis.
