Amlodipine, valsartan, and hydrochlorothiazide for hypertension.
Triforge 10/320/25mg is a triple combination of amlodipine 10mg (calcium channel blocker), valsartan 320mg (ARB), and hydrochlorothiazide 25mg (diuretic). Used for hypertension when blood pressure is already controlled on this combination. Not for initial therapy. Manufactured as film-coated tablets.
Purpose
Treatment of hypertension in adults already controlled on this combination.
Ingredients
Amlodipine (as besylate) 10mg, Valsartan 320mg, and Hydrochlorothiazide 25mg per tablet.
Warnings
Contraindicated in pregnancy; discontinue if pregnancy detected. Not for initial therapy. Avoid in severe hepatic impairment. Monitor potassium and renal function.
Side Effects
Dizziness, peripheral edema, headache, fatigue, muscle cramps, nausea. Risk of hypotension, hyperkalemia, hypokalemia.
