Vanbact (1g) 1 Injection/Infusion contains vancomycin 1g for serious bacterial infections. For intravenous use only. Administer as directed by healthcare professional. Prescription only.
Purpose
Treatment of serious Gram-positive bacterial infections (e.g. MRSA) when prescribed.
Ingredients
Vancomycin (as hydrochloride) 1g per vial; 1 vial.
Warnings
Prescription only. For IV use under medical supervision. Monitor renal function and hearing. Report rash or infusion reaction.
Side Effects
Red man syndrome if infused too fast, nephrotoxicity, ototoxicity. Report hearing changes, decreased urine output, or rash.
Storage Instructions
