Vancomycin 500mg injection for serious Gram-positive infections.
Vancomycin 500mg Inj contains vancomycin hydrochloride 500mg per vial for serious Gram-positive bacterial infections (e.g. MRSA, C. difficile). For use by healthcare professionals. Administer by IV infusion as prescribed; monitor levels.
Purpose
Treatment of serious Gram-positive bacterial infections (e.g. MRSA, Clostridioides difficile when oral route not suitable) when caused by susceptible organisms.

Vancomycin hydrochloride 500mg per vial.
Warnings
Prescription only. For professional use. Infuse slowly to avoid red man syndrome. Monitor renal function and drug levels. Report hearing changes or kidney problems.

Red man syndrome (rapid infusion), nephrotoxicity, ototoxicity, thrombophlebitis. Report hearing changes, decreased urine output, or rash.
Storage Instructions
