Virata (90mg) 20 Tablets
Rivaroxaban 90mg tablets for DVT and PE treatment.
Virata (90mg) contains rivaroxaban, a direct factor Xa inhibitor anticoagulant. The 90mg strength is used for treatment of deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism (after initial 15mg twice daily). Take with food as directed.
Purpose
Treatment and prevention of venous thromboembolism; stroke prevention in atrial fibrillation when prescribed.
Ingredients
Rivaroxaban 90mg per tablet (or strength as per pack).
Warnings
Increased bleeding risk. Contraindicated in active bleeding and severe renal impairment. Do not stop without medical advice. Not for use in pregnancy.
Side Effects
Bleeding, anaemia, nausea. Report signs of bleeding such as unusual bruising, blood in urine or stool, or prolonged bleeding.
Storage Instructions
Store below 30°C in a dry place. Keep in original pack; protect from moisture.
