Xenglu Met Xr 5/1000 14s contain sitagliptin 5mg and metformin 1000mg extended-release (DPP-4 inhibitor and antidiabetic) for type 2 diabetes as prescribed. Take as directed; usually one tablet once daily. Prescription only.

Purpose

Treatment of type 2 diabetes when prescribed.

Ingredients

Sitagliptin 5mg, metformin 1000mg extended-release per tablet; 14 tablets.

Warnings

Prescription only. Swallow whole. Do not use in severe kidney impairment unless advised.

Side Effects

Hypoglycaemia, GI upset possible. Report lactic acidosis symptoms or allergic reaction.
