Xepex (60mg) 20 Capsules
Esomeprazole 60mg capsules for acid reflux and ulcers.
Xepex (60mg) contains esomeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor for GERD and peptic ulcers. The 60mg strength may be for higher-dose or twice-daily use when prescribed. Take before meals as directed.
Purpose
Treatment of gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD), erosive esophagitis, peptic ulcer disease, and as part of H. pylori eradication.
Ingredients
Esomeprazole 60mg (as magnesium or equivalent) per capsule.
Warnings
Not for immediate relief of heartburn. Report persistent diarrhoea or signs of hypomagnesaemia.
Side Effects
Headache, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, nausea. Long-term use may be associated with hypomagnesaemia. Report muscle cramps or irregular heartbeat.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep in original pack; protect from moisture.
