Lactulose syrup 120ml for constipation or hepatic encephalopathy.
Zefalac Syp 120Ml contains lactulose (osmotic laxative) for constipation or hepatic encephalopathy. Take as directed; usually once or twice daily. Shake well before use. May take 24 to 48 hours to work. Do not exceed recommended dose. Prescription only for hepatic encephalopathy.
Purpose
Relief of constipation or treatment of hepatic encephalopathy when prescribed.
Ingredients
Lactulose; 120ml.
Warnings
Do not use in galactosaemia or intestinal blockage. Report severe abdominal pain. Diabetic: contains sugar. Prescription only for hepatic encephalopathy.
Side Effects
Flatulence, stomach cramping, diarrhoea. Report severe abdominal pain or no bowel movement.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C. Shake well before use. Keep in original container. Keep out of reach of children.
