ZESTRIL (10MG) 14 TABLETS
Zestril 10mg tablets contain lisinopril, an ACE (angiotensin-converting enzyme) inhibitor. It relaxes blood vessels and reduces strain on the heart, used to treat high blood pressure, heart failure and to improve survival after a heart attack.
Purpose
Treatment of high blood pressure. Treatment of heart failure. To improve survival after heart attack. To protect kidneys in diabetic kidney disease in some patients.
Ingredients
Lisinopril (as dihydrate) 10mg.
Warnings
Do not use if pregnant—can harm the unborn baby. Tell your doctor if you have kidney disease or high potassium. Avoid potassium supplements or salt substitutes unless advised. First doses may cause dizziness; take care when standing. Do not use with sacubitril or aliskiren.
Side Effects
Dry tickly cough (common), dizziness, headache, tiredness. Less common: nausea, diarrhoea, rash, raised potassium. Report swelling of face/lips, difficulty breathing, or severe dizziness.
Storage Instructions
Store below 30°C. Keep in original pack. Protect from moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
