Albumin 20% Csl (50ml) is a sterile, highly purified human plasma protein solution indicated for the expansion of circulating blood volume and correction of severe hypovolemia. It acts by rapidly increasing the intravascular oncotic pressure, drawing interstitial fluid into the blood vessels to stabilize severe hemodynamics.

Purpose

Elevates intravascular colloid osmotic pressure to restore circulating blood volume and manage severe edema.

Ingredients

Human Albumin 20% (10g per 50ml)

Warnings

Administer via slow intravenous infusion only; rapid infusion can cause severe circulatory overload and acute pulmonary edema. Monitor the patient's arterial blood pressure, heart rate, and central venous pressure continuously during administration. Use with extreme caution in patients with chronic severe anemia, cardiac insufficiency, or history of pulmonary congestion. Because it is a human-derived blood product, strict viral clearance screening is maintained during its manufacturing process.

Side Effects

Temporary flushing or urticarial skin rashes. Chills, shivering, or a sudden rise in body temperature. Moderate blood pressure changes or tachycardia. Mild nausea, vomiting, or increased salivation.
