Pulmitac Syrup contains Bambuterol, a long-acting prodrug of Terbutaline that is converted in the body to a bronchodilator. It works by relaxing the muscles of the airways, helping to relieve symptoms of asthma and other conditions involving bronchial constriction such as wheezing and shortness of breath. Pulmitac is typically taken once daily, often in the evening, for sustained overnight symptom control. It should be used as prescribed by a healthcare provider.

Warnings

Prescription medicine; use with caution in patients with heart disease, high blood pressure, hyperthyroidism or diabetes. Side Effects

Common side effects include tremor, headache, palpitations and muscle cramps. Less commonly, it may cause nervousness, sleep disturbances or low potassium levels. Seek medical attention if chest pain, irregular heartbeat or severe allergic reaction occurs.
